*The Business of Being Born -

what an amazing documentary. i just keep watching it. netflix may never get it back. anyone who even thinks about ever having a child should watch this film. it’s basically comparing hospital birth to home birth. i personally would have loved to see more about birth centers but it really wouldn’t have fit into this movie. watch this movie. know your choices and what the doctors push.

*National Geographic’s In the Womb -

this is a great documentary if you are interested in knowing more about the development of your baby. i loved how at the end of it a midwife was helping the woman give birth and how they noted that laying on your back is the worst way to give birth.

* Junior – imagine Arnold Schwarzenneger as the first ever pregnant man. perfect if you are wishing that your husband could do this for you.

* Look Who’s Talking - about a single mother giving birth and raising her son. i especially enjoyed the animation of the baby in the womb and his thoughts. very cute.
